Multidirectional dynamic penetration test of rock mass using RPD.
Contributes to the labor-saving and efficiency of rock core drilling! Testing is possible in vertical, inclined, or horizontal directions.
The "Multi-Directional Dynamic Penetration Test of Rock Using RPD" is a dynamic penetration testing method that utilizes a rotary percussion drill, allowing for simultaneous measurement of the continuous impact penetration resistance (P value) in horizontal and inclined directions, as well as the collection of core samples. Only the test specifications using a medium-sized RPD or large RPD with a PS-WL (Percussion Wireline Sampler) at the drilling tip can collect core samples while measuring the P value simultaneously. Additionally, it can be applied to unconsolidated ground such as cohesive soil, sand, and gravel, as well as cement-treated ground. 【Features】 ■ The P value has a good correlation with conventional sounding test results such as N values and unconfined compressive strength (qu), making it useful as an indicator for understanding the continuous changes in soil hardness and estimating soil physical properties such as strength characteristics. ■ The P value can be determined from the penetration time it takes for the drilling tip to penetrate the ground to any desired depth, along with the RPD's impact, rotation, and feed hydraulic pressure (measured by the control panel's indicators) at that time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
